01Who is Altechmind Technologies?
Altechmind Technologies (OPC) Private Limited is a registered IT company in New Town, Kolkata, India, founded by Prashant Kumar. We build websites, OJS journal and DSpace repository sites, custom software and apps for businesses, publishers and institutions in India and abroad, and our clients rate us 5.0 on Google.
02What services do you offer?
Websites (business, e-commerce, WordPress and Shopify), OJS, OMP and OPS journal and press sites, DSpace repositories, the Journal Certificate System, custom software, web and mobile apps, AI features, website support and maintenance, page speed, migration, and server setup on your own account. 03How much does a project cost?
Every project is priced after a free consultation, in a written proposal with a fixed price. Some services have a starting price, for example informative websites from ₹12,999, and support at ₹500 an hour. Prices are plus 18% GST and you receive a GST invoice.
04What is your payment structure?
Most projects are paid 40% to start and 60% on completion. Larger projects are paid in three parts: 40% to start, 30% at an agreed mid-project milestone and 30% on delivery. We accept UPI, NEFT, bank transfer, and PayPal for international clients. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions.
05How long does a typical project take?
It depends on the project. Informative websites usually take 1 to 2 weeks, custom websites and OJS setups 2 to 4 weeks, and larger projects 4 to 8 weeks or more. Your proposal has the timeline for your project.
06Do you provide hosting, domains or email?
No, we don’t sell them. You buy hosting, the domain and email in your own name, so you always keep control. We help you choose and set them up, and look after the site on them as your developer.
07Can you work on a website or app someone else built?
Yes. We start by reviewing the code and setup, tell you what we find, and then fix it, improve it or take over its maintenance.
08Do you work with clients outside India?
Yes. We work with clients in India and abroad over Google Meet, email and WhatsApp, and international clients can pay by PayPal.
09Do you provide free support after delivery?
Yes. Most projects include 3 months of free minor support after delivery: bug fixes, small adjustments and help with using what we built.
10What happens after the free support period?
You can pay as you go at ₹500 + 18% GST an hour, or choose a monthly or yearly support and maintenance plan.
11How do I get started?
