What Java work do you take on?

Spring Boot APIs and back ends, upgrades and maintenance of existing Java applications, integrations, code reviews, and customisation of Java-based platforms such as DSpace. We'll tell you honestly if a project is outside what we do well.

Can you upgrade our old Java application?

Usually, yes. We review the code and dependencies first, then move it to a current long-term support release of Java and Spring in stages, testing as we go.

Can you work with our existing team?

Yes. We can take on a defined part of the work, review code, or help your developers with an upgrade.

How long does it take?

It depends on the size and state of the code, so every project gets a timeline in its written proposal after we've looked at it.

How much does it cost?

Every project gets a written proposal after a free call: scope, milestones and one fixed price, plus 18% GST. Payment is usually 40% to start and 60% on delivery; larger projects are split into milestones.

Do you provide hosting?

No. We don't sell hosting. Your app runs on hosting or a server in your name; we help you choose it, set it up and deploy for you.

Do you support the app after launch?

Yes: Java upgrades, bug fixes, security updates and new features, by the hour or on a monthly plan.
