JournalEnv is our software platform for journals. How you sign in depends on who you are:

You areSign inBilling
The account holder (the one person who orders and pays)With your Altechmind account: a one-time code sent to your emailYes, only you
A journal manager, editor or publisher staffWith your own JournalEnv loginNever
An author, reviewer or readerOn the journal itselfNever

Your team never needs your Altechmind account, and your journal’s authors, reviewers and readers never need an Altechmind account at all.

When your journal goes live

A JournalEnv journal goes live when it is on a paid plan and its own domain is connected and working. Until then, including the 30-day free trial, it is a private preview, not open to the public. You buy the domain yourself, in your own name (we never sell or arrange domains), and we guide you in connecting it.

Your journal stays yours

Altechmind provides the software; your journal and its content stay yours. We are a technology provider, not a publisher: our checks are technical only (email verified, paid plan active, own domain working), and we never review, approve or endorse a journal or its articles. The journal’s owner is responsible for its content, editorial board, peer review, ethics, ISSN and indexing claims.

Questions

Does Altechmind approve or publish journals?

No. Altechmind is a technology provider, not a publisher. Our checks are technical only: email verified, paid plan active, own domain working. We never review, approve or endorse a journal or its articles. The journal’s owner is responsible for its content, editorial board, peer review, ethics, ISSN and indexing claims.

Can my team use my Altechmind account?

No: one person, one account. Your Altechmind account is only for you, the account holder, so please never share its sign-in codes. Your team (journal managers, editors, publisher staff) uses its own JournalEnv logins, asks for help in JournalEnv’s help desk, and never needs your account or billing; billing questions come to us through you. Inviting colleagues to the account may come later.
